Heels over head at 36 weeks

I had my 36-week appointment yesterday, and am happy to report that Baby Girl is now right-side-up...well, upside down, but that's where I want her! Dr Hoover was examining me and was right in the middle of telling me how they'd flip her manually and was just at the part of her story of why she wouldn't recommend an epidural (egads!), when she was like, "oh! Well never mind, this is her head!" Yay - what a relief that is...especially knowing what a good listener we have on our hands. :) We also have a feisty one, as I'm not sure she's slept since my appointment. It was a busy Monday/Tuesday morning in the womb that brings me to blog updating at this hour. That and allergies, and the teeny-tiny bed my body pillow and I share with my giant husband. Oh well, here's to fitting more hours into a day, right?!

Also found out that I am 2-cm dilated, which makes me happy to know that things are progressing, but I also know I could likely just stay that way for a couple of weeks. So, not to panic...packing my bag and finding the infant car seat were on my to-do list anyway!

Atta girl, Katie Beth! SO glad to hear the news.

Hope her dancing feet slow down a little so you can rest before she comes! :) Give Ben a kiss and KB a belly pat from me. XO
