This year, we celebrated at the Creative Discovery Museum. We are members and love it there, and they happened to have a traveling exhibit just open that's all about dinosaurs!
I love it when a theme just takes care of itself. :)
The morning of his party, Ben woke up and said, "so today is my real birthday day, right?"
And he had a blast.
He's literally blasting water here with his school buddy, Wyatt.
checking out the observation tower's view
just a little ride on a triceratops with our neighborhood friends
Mr. Will didn't miss out on the action either!
My mom says he's concentrating really hard here on his craft project. I think he wants to eat that little hippo.
The CDM staff really takes care of everything, but we did bring in some munchies since it was lunchtime. We had dino-shaped sandwiches, fruity-pebble bars, pterodactyl claws (bugles),
herbivore treats (fruit salad), fossil crunch (puppy chow) and jurassic punch.
Simple, fun and kid friendly!
Party favors were dino masks, tattoos and a toy dinosaur of their choosing. However with lots of little ladies in attendance, we had to glam a few up with bracelets and hair extensions, of course!

Of course, there was face painting... here's Grandma and Camo Ben.

Fun party, easy cleanup, thrilled birthday boy = really great day!

It was such a fun party! Ben was so excited and you did an amazing job with the dino-theme. Ben comes by his love for a theme quite honestly!
