"Cousins are friends that will love you forever"

...and that goes for aunts and uncles too! :) We were so happy to have Tyler's sister and family visit us over Easter weekend. There are seven of them all together. All together in one van for 15 hours. All together in one room (minus Caleb, who bunked with Ben) for four nights. All together such a fun family!

We had been anticipating their trip for weeks. Ben would tell random strangers that his "duzdins" were coming and what they were going to do together. And now that they've left :(, he's starting telling more random strangers that his "duzdins" did come and what they did together! Such as:

have picnics

play Kinect

read books

kick soccer balls

play outside

go to the park

and just soak each other up.

As you can imagine with four girls around, Katie Beth felt no shortage of love!

And as the winner of the Early Riser award,

Caleb won some quiet snuggles of his own too.

Katie Beth rarely had to put her feet on the ground, but this time when she was walking with Kianna, she stopped, turned, and held her hand up to Adam so he could walk with them too.

And so began her love for Uncle Adam.

By the end of the weekend, if she was fussy, (or downright inconsolable as was the case below) we all knew to just hand her to Adam for an instant calming effect!

Which was a little hard on a certain Auntie to accept, but she finagled a few squeezes in between all the creating, organizing, refereeing, planning, hugging, teaching, and preparing that make her the Memory Making Queen that she is!

We had a great time as always, and are awaiting their next visit, via Skype, as soon as they recover from that drive home!
