This past Sunday, June 1, was Ben's dedication at our church. Our pastor prayed that Ben would grow up to love Jesus and live in a way that reflects God's special call on his life. He also prayed for wisdom and guidance for Tyler and me and all the other influencial people in Ben's life. We feel so humbled and fortunate that God has granted us the opportunity to raise His child, and it's a job that we know we can't do without His help.
Making the event even more special, was having my family in town to celebrate. We had a wonderful weekend, and enjoyed spending time together before Jess and Michael headed out west.
My first overalls! Daddy says they're girly, but Mommy ensures me that they're just summery. (Daddy would probably say that's a girly thing to say.)
I'm so excited to wear my new bubble that Grandma smocked for me!
